When we stumbled into the Sant Pere (El Born/La Ribera) area of…

When we stumbled into the Sant Pere (El Born/La Ribera) area of Barcelona late at night, I can’t tell you how I felt. It was just THE COOLEST place I could imagine. It was like being in SoHo or the Meatpacking District in NYC–you know, the NYCest parts of NYC–except it’s all dark, narrow alleyways without cars, filled with all of the restaurants and cute boutiques and awesome graffiti you want to find while exploring a new city. It was lit only with these old-timey streetlights, so there was nothing more than a yellowy glow down most of the streets, casting shadows on the stone buildings. Uggggh, just thinking about it makes me miss Barcelona so much, and I’ve only spent a week and a half of my life there!
