One morning in Barcelona, we took a bus tour an hour and a half outside of the city to Montserrat, a mountain range that’s an important religious site for Catalan people because of its black Madonna that a monastery was built around. (Legend has it they tried to move the Madonna and couldn’t budge her, so they just gave up and put their monastery there). This is also where the oldest working printing press in the world is!
