The last of the beautiful and interesting food we ate at 3-Michelin-starred @lasartebcn in Barcelona, from chef @martinberasategui. Not only did we love the food here, but the experience overall was incredible. There was a special drink cart where the servers whipped up newfangled old-fashioneds for us. When my dumb shoes hurt the backs of my feet and I asked our server for a bandage, he found one for me and also apologized for not knowing the English word for it at first even though I was the one traveling in a Spanish-speaking country with only a really crappy knowledge of the language! At times, we felt like the service was so PERFECT that they must be secretly listening to us talk about what we wanted. I’ve literally told people that the sculpture on our table must have been a listening device for them to have somehow left tomatoes off one of the dishes after my friends and I discussed how I hate tomatoes. Highly recommended!
