I’ve been eating tons of #eastvillage ice cream lately, but I’ve skipped over @stuffedicecreamnyc because I figured it was just a novelty. You know, made for Instagram and so famous that friends from other states were sending me photos of it. I cannot be won by good marketing! But I can, however, be won with awesome food, and that’s what this is. The ice cream flavors were intense and tasty, and the glazed doughnut seemed like a Krispy Kreme to me but is apparently made in-house! They call these sandwiches cruffs, and my husband got the Mint Monster with Andes Peppermint ice cream and Cookie Monster ice cream with Oreos and Captain Crunch, while I got the Cookie Road with Cookie Monster ice cream and Rocky Road ice cream with Oreos and chocolate syrup. I honestly didn’t even know how much I cared for doughnuts before I tried this, and the best way to eat it really is like a sandwich!
