Our first stop in Boston was @mentonboston, where we did the Valentine’s…

Our first stop in Boston was @mentonboston, where we did the Valentine’s Day tasting menu. Chef @barbaralynchbos’s fine dining restaurant was on every “must try” list I read and for good reason. We had: 1) an oyster amuse bouche, 2) hiramasa crudo, 3) shellfish melange, 4) citrus glazed lobster, 5) saffron strozzapreti, 6) foie gras torchon, 7) Painted Hills ribeye, 8) milk chocolate ganache, and 9) assorted petit fours. So many things were standouts (can we talk about the truffles atop that pasta?), but my absolute favorite was the foie gras, which was served with a sweet croissant and had these walnuts on top that were preserved to give them more of a chewy than crunchy texture. Definitely deserving of a visit from the @michelinguide! ⁣
