
Roman-style pizza @dia.newyork in the East Village, where we couldn’t resist trying the black pizza with squid ink dough, ricotta, cuttlefish, cherry tomato, and gremolata. Also: 2) speck pizza with mozzarella, taleggio, arugula, and truffle honey, 3) the margherita with pomodoro, mozzarella, and basil, 4) the amaaaaaazing tagliolini carbonara with egg, pancetta, parmigiano, cracked black pepper, and heavy cream, 5) arancini with parmigiano risotto and nduja, and drinks in a very pretty bar space. Weirdly, everyone agreed that the plain margherita pizza was the best one, which is a sure sign of a pizzeria using quality ingredients!
