The perfect ending to the chef’s tasting menu at @perseny, where your server just starts piling desserts around you for sampling at your leisure. The Coffee and Doughnuts is a Per Se classic: cappuccino semifreddo with cinnamon sugared donut holes. I’ve had it a few times, but it was SO EXTRA GOOD this time that my friend actually fell out of her chair and onto the floor while trying to look around for our server to ask if we could have another round of it. Ha! And after 8 years of visiting Per Se, I finally made my dreams come true: when they brought around the wooden box of chocolate bon-bons and asked which flavors we’d like to try, I asked them to LEAVE THE ENTIRE BOX. I can die happy now.⠀
