Louis XV had this little palace, the Petit Trianon, built for his mistress on the grounds of Versailles, but Louis XVI ultimately gave it to Queen Marie Antoinette so she could escape the extreme hardships of being a 19-year-old queen living in a giant palace with servants at her beck and call. Woe!
